The Bihar PSC 60-62 Mains Exam will be conducted for 1200 marks.

Hindi – The postulants will have to achieve minimum 30 marks to pass in Hindi. No extra marks will be added in the total marks.

General Studies–GS – It will be divided into two parts – General Studies Paper I & GS Paper II. 200 is the maximum marks for each GS paper. The timing given to the students will three hours individually. Both the section of this paper will be further divided into three parts.

First Optional Paper
Paper 4 which Part-I is 1st Optional subjects will be of total 200 marks.
Paper 5 (Part-II) of First Optional subject contains maximum 200 marks.

Second Optional Paper
Paper 6 – Second optional subject of Part-One consists of 200 marks.
Paper 7 – IInd optional subject Part-Two will also compose of maximum 200 marks.
